Learn and Engage

Once you register, you'll be enrolled in your online academy course and be able to access learning materials, chat with your teacher and other students and start your learning journey. Live lesson links will be emailed to you separately.

Meet the Director 

Christina Ball, Ph.D 
With over 30 years of experience in language education, Christina is passionate about connecting and empowering people through language and culture. A lifelong student of Romance languages, she holds a Ph.D. in Italian from Yale University, was a Fulbright Scholar to Italy, and has led multiple tours there. What began as a small Italian school in 2004 has grown into Speak!, a global platform teaching 20 languages worldwide with a team of over 75 human educators and language-culture-travel lovers.
